At PCA we believe…

… Jesus Christ is the revealed Son of God, whose life, death, and resurrection are our source of life, now and in the world to come. Jesus’s gentleness, grace, and insistence on liberation - social and spiritual - is the pattern and power woven throughout our lives.

… everyone is welcome. And we mean everyone. Queer and straight, old and young, red and blue, all races and ethnicities. We aim to model God’s ultimate desire for God’s kingdom - a place where people from “every nation, tribe, language and nation” worship God together (Rev. 7:9).

… God’s love is not just an idea, it’s something we actively practice through fellowship and hospitality, service and giving. In community with mourn with each other when we’re grieving, we rejoice with each other when we’re celebrating, and we serve the neighbors around us through volunteering and giving.

God’s Word tells us a long story of God’s faithfulness to God’s people. It is the authoritative witness to the person and work of Jesus Christ. The Bible is an ancient collection of wisdom, poetry, history, and moral teachings. We do our best to listen for God’s wisdom and love as it emanates into our own distinct context. We take our role as readers and interpreters seriously, knowing that how we understand Scripture informs the beliefs that guide our actions.

… we all experience the influence of the alienation and brokenness called “sin.” God’s grace helps us — whether we need to admit that we’ve made mistakes and are looking for change, or if we’ve experienced the harmful affects of someone else’s errors or wrongdoing. Sin can be experienced on an individual, relational, or societal level, but God’s grace helps us engage no matter what.
